Welcome to Taureauxroug Dogue de Bordeaux & Pug Kennel

We are Jarrad Vitler and Brooke Irwin, registered breeders with ANKC, members of Dogs West and the Dogue de Bordeaux Club of Australia. We are located in Perth, Western Australia and enjoy spending time with our dogues, whether that be walking, showing, swimming, socializing, pottering around the home or sharing the couch with them. Our dogues are a big part of our lives but most importantly a big part of our family.

Unlike most, we were captivated by this amazing breed well before actually watching the movie "Turner & Hooch".

The DDB is a breed we are very passionate about. We live by our philosophy, to PROMOTE (by actively showing & educating), PRESERVE (with genetic diversity) and most importantly PROTECT the breed through responsible breeding practices. All our dogues are health tested prior to breeding, including hip/elbow scoring and heart certification, in our effort to improve the health and longevity of the breed.

We have previously been actively involved helping the DDB Rescue of Australia with Brooke being the Western Region Coordinator. Over the past couple of years, the need for a breed rescue group has grown at an alarming rate. We have since stepped back in our role after we welcomed our 2 daughters in 2017 and 2019.
