After a 4 month battle with illness, we lost Bricktop on Christmas Day 2022. We now know he was dealing with a systemic infection and had been prescribed the WRONG antibiotics as the treating vet did NOT do a culture. He had 2 antibiotic resistant bacteria's and a non healing wound that was spreading along his left hind leg. We feel so let down at multiple stages along the way as Brick was traveling back and forth from the vet for 4 months, we felt we were not being heard and the attention was being directed at the less important issues at the time. We strongly feel that if the initial vet had of send a culture, as we had expressed concerns for, the right AB would have been prescribed and would have knocked those deadly bacteria's off in the early stages of infection. As such, 2 long courses of Cephalexin (which the bacterias were resistant too), 2 doses of Nexguard 2 weeks apart as directed by the vet and a course of Carprofen, we feel just completley devastated Bricktop's remaining immune system and the bacterias were able to take hold and run rampade, as after this treatment plan, Bricktops health rapidly declined and ultimatley we feel, led to his demise. We will not rest until we find answers for why things happened the way they did.
RIP Bricktop. Hope you are having fun playing with brother Diesel up there at the bridge. Condolencdes to the Seeley family, who will likely, never recover from the trauma and loss of the situation and their beloved Brick.

Wow! What can we say about this amazing boy! Bricktop is the standout of the litter. His huge head circumference and overall size is breathtaking. And above all else, he is balanced!
