Oona was inseminated Easter weekend 2020 and we hope to welcome a litter mid June 2020.
We are extremely excited about our planned litter by "Buddha" Best In Show Winning American Grand Champion Evergreen's Rub My Belly at Risingstar CGC TT (USA) to our Class In Show Winner "Oona" Australian Champion Amedange Fire In The Sky. This litter has been possible by the generosity of Dr Chris & Yvette Girling whom imported semen from the well known Buddah and have allowed us the use with Oona.
Buddha is sired by Am. Champion Risingstar Hugo Boss, and out of Am. Champion Scarlett De Legeane. Buddha is very well known and respected within the breed, setting the bar high with his many accomplishments. He was a legend within his own right. A healthy male, Buddha has been CHIC awarded and extensively health tested scoring OFA Hips Fair, Elbows Normal, Shoulders Normal, Heart Normal via Echocardiogram and Eye Tested E1 (Cataract - Suspect Not Inherited). Carrying the de Legeane lines, which we have been fans of for years, he also ties back into the Australian lines, in particular Moloscyg lines, through his Grandfather Laruscades Hugo (imp UK). Unfortunately, Buddha passed away due to complications with an MRSA infection at the age of5.5 years.
Oona is a fun loving girl, sired by Champion Bronzantiq Counting Stars (a Duke Udson Jnr son) and out of the lovely femine bitch lines of Jerivindi, Champion Jerivindi Shala (imp UK). Oona is very well constructed and very balanced. She was awarded Bet Intermediate In Show under breed enthusiest Senor Rafael Alcrudo with the comments, "A beautifully balanced bitch with correct movement. A little long cast but with so much potential". Oona has been health tested with good results, Hips 8, Elbows 1/1 and Heart certified Clear via echocardiogram.
Oona's family type has a very strong influence and we are extremely excited about this mating.
Hip average so far for our K Litter is 16.8 and elbows 2.2
