*** RIP Bae***

17 June 2017 - 8 December 2017
Bae (pronounced BAY-ah) as she is affectionately know is a beautiful, well constructed girl, built much like her mother Calypso. Her movement is remarkable, free flowing and effortless, she powers around the ring, this girl can move! Still a few more years of developing yet from this little lady, we are pleased with what the future holds. When we were presented with the offer to add Bea to our kennel, it was an offer we simply couldn't refuse and we thank Vicki (Amedange) and Deborah (Ataraxia) for entrusting us and allowing Bae to come and live with us in the West.
Her pedigree is line bred on Signore Kwan through a beautiful blend of Australian and International bloodlines and is another step forward for our kennel. Her mother Calypso, is a beautiful representative of the breed and was the Best of Breed winner of the first Australian Specialty Show in 2013 judged by international breed specialist Bas Bosch. To quote Bas, "She is exceptional, one may never see another as good as this bitch. She is to be treasured" and we are thankful to have one of Calypso's offspring
At her very first show, the Utility Dog Club WA Champ Show on 13th September 2014, at 27 months of age, Bae was awarded 1st Australian Bred bitch, Challenge Bitch and Runner-Up Best of Breed under Brazilian judge Ms E Cirrea Hofmann Gatti. We are stoked with how she performed and so proud of her.
Bae's second show, the Building & Amenities Champ Show on 13th December 2014, she was awarded 1st Open bitch, Challenge Bitch and Runner-Up Best of Breed under WA judge Mrs L Parker.
Bae's first shows for 2015, were the Canine Fund Raisers Champ shows, over the 23rd, 24th, 25th January. Bae was awarded 1st Intermediate, Challenge Bitch and Runner-Up Best of Breed on the Friday night under judge Mrs A Raymond (SA). We missed the stewards call on Saturday (opps!) but got there with plenty of time on Sunday. Again Bae showed beautifully, she has really grown in confidence now and she was awarded 1st Intermediate, Challenge Bitch and Best of Breed by NSW judge, Mrs J Seary. We are very proud of her.
At the 2015 Western Classic, under international judge Mrs T Carter (Canada), Bae was awarded 1st Open bitch class. Monday evenings show, Bae was awarded 1st Open Bitch, Challenge Bitch and Runner-Up Best of Breed under international judge Ms J O'Connor (Ireland). We are very pleased with her ring craft, she enjoys showing off.
At the Building & Amenities Champ Show on 15th March 2015, Bae was awarded 1st Australian Bred, BCC and BOB and is now over half way to her title.
Bae gained her Australian Champion title on 28th June 2015 under local judge Ms K Mansell.
Wonderful show results for 2015. We are so proud that Bae finished #11 on the DOL National Breed Challenge Leader board 2015. And #1 on the WA Leader board!
Bae has been hip and elbow scored with a total hip score of 13 and elbows 0:1. She was also heart certified within normal breed limits, in October 2014. Assessed again by Dr Neik Beijerink in December 2016, Bae had similar readings to previous certification. She is also DNA profiled.
Bae had a wonderful litter of 8 (7B 1G) to Moloscyg Ostentatious on March 5th, 2016. Please view our "D" Litter page for information about this litter.
August 2016, Bae was inseminated via TCI with frozen semen, imported from the USA, from Am Gr CH Amazonite Matrix. Unfortunately, Bae didn't take and we wont be expecting a litter between these 2 dogues :(
Bae was mated to our boy Diesel in January 2017. An ultrasound in February showed that Bae wasn't in whelp, and wont be expecting a litter in March.
We tried again for a litter from Bae & Diesel, this time with success, and we welcomed our GOT litter on 8th August 2017 (1G 4B).
On the morning of the 8th December 2017, we were devastated to find Bae had passed overnight to the dreaded bloat. Other than not wanting to eat her dinner, there were no other tell tale signs to suggest bloat. Her loss is felt by many.
