Mika was bred late October and we hope for the pitter patter of little paws late December 2022. Both black and red masks expected. Excited to see what this mating produces, a line breed on Cetje (Payk's grandsire on his dam's side & Mica's great-grandsire through Thorr z Orisku on Mica's dam's side)
Mica has been confirmed in whelp with 1 pup.
On Friday 23rd December 2022, Mica welcomed 1 little black mask boy via c-section. It took some time to establish his breathing but it became evident by the time we took him home that something was not right. He was not reacting to touch stimuli, was not wriggling around like a normal neonate and had no suck reflex. After tube feeding him all day and night, we decided to euthanise him on the 24th. It was pretty clear, even though he was breathing, there was no life in him. Thankfully Mica has recovered well.
