Oona and I ventured out to The Winter Festival Championship shows on the weekend of 14th & 16th July. Friday evening we had the pleasure of being judged by Ms D Lucas (South Africa), with Oona being awarded a tidy Best of Breed. Sunday we received some lovely comments from the Irish judge Mr J Muldoon,"Lovely strong body, nice head, beautiful mover, Very lovely bitch" who awarded Oona the Best of Breed.
Lovely update from Mel & Neil in the UK with Ramsey & Alice, informing us that the dogs have adjusted well to the English way of life and adore their new grandson, especially Ramsey, who wants to lick his feet. Only got to experience a sprinkle of snow, which went as soon as it arrived. Ramsey was a dream patient for the vet who had to remove a wart from his eyelid and they have managed to slowly wean Alice down on her medication from 250mg to 50mg, blood work all good and looking to wean off them completely in the next few months.She is much brighter and trimming down in weight, as she left OZ a little porky and may relocate back to Australia in the next year or so. Both dogs are the star attractions where-ever they go. It will be great to see them again
