Billie has come into season and we plan to breed her to Diablo by way of frozen semen. She had her echocardiogram screening and returned good results. Aortic Outflow Velocity within normal limits at 1.60m/s.
Unfortunately Mica was scanned late August as sadly is not expecting a litter next month. We will try again with a different sire on her next heat.
Another lot of bad news, Billie developed pyometra (lucky it is an open pyo) so we abandoned her insemination and are having her treated for the infection. She will hopefully be bred on her next heat.
Not a great year for us in regards to breeding with 2 misses and a pyo infection. Well they do say bad things come in 3's so we are hoping our luck will turn around. Fingers crossed.
