Plans for our "D" Litter started to come together and Bae was inseminated on Jan 4th by means of TCI (trans-cervical insemination) at Applecross Vet by the talented Dr Steve Metcalfe. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome.
Iiah had her show debute New Years Day, and was awarded Best Baby of Breed at the Canine Fund Raisers shows on 1st and 2nd. It was alot to take in for a baby but we are confident Iiah will be one to watch. We were so please her breeder Vicki was able to be there to see her show carer start, and gave us some good pointers (mainly for me for my handling skills). Iiah continued to settle into the swing of things with another 4 shows this month.
At the Building & Amenities show on the 31st (the day she turned 6 months), Iiah progressed up to Minor Class and gained her first challenge points (with a BCC) towards her title.
And not to forget Ranger, who has been out of the ring for a little while, who was awarded Best of Breed at both NSDC shows on 29th and 31st, also gaining his first points towards his title.
