Ranger and Oona attended the Canine Fund Raisers New Year Eve shows. New Years day, under judge Mrs Bacich (NSW) Ranger was awarded the Dog Challenge and RUBOB. Oona was Reserve Bitch Challenge.
Lovely new photos from some of our pups from D Litter (now 10months old). Very happy with the consistency in body structure between them all. Narla is the spitting image of her mother at the same age. All are very well loved members of their families and we couldn't be happier. Below we have Brue (Blue Boy), Narla (girl), Ali (Black Boy) & Ziggy (Orange boy). Ziggy and Wilson (not pictured) were very similar as babies and its nice to see they remain similar as they mature, although Wilson (Red Boy) has a more correct head for the breed at this age, and actually, he has the best head out of the whole litter. We have started organizing the hip/elbow xray's for the D Litter kids from March onwards, before our impending arrival of the 2 legged kind, due in April.
Oona was awarded BCC and BOB at the Ladies Kennel Club under WA Judge Mrs S Baxter. Thankyou to my good friend Desire who has taken the task of showing Oona for me as now, at 6 months pregnant, can no longer run around the ring myself.
The Australia Day Weekend shows were warm but it was nice once the breeze set in. Its nice and easy now with only taking 1 dog & 1 crate. Oona was awarded BOB under local WA judge Ms L Taylor at the Thursday show. Friday night, Oona was again awarded BOB under ACT judge Mrs L Stevens. Saturday night Oona was Reserve BCC and RUBOB, only now needing 2 points towards her title. So close. Hopefully next weekend will be promising and thanks again to my wonderful friend Desire who showed Oona for me.
