Tonka is awarded Best of Breed at Kalamunda Champ Show. Leah is awarded Runner-Up BOB.
Leah is awarded Bitch Challenge and Tonka res Dog Challenge and RUBOB to Allegreto Big Bubba (who goes on to win RUBIG) at the WAKC show on the 23rd. Leah earns her final points towards her title at the Non-Sporting Dog Club of WA's St Patricks Day Show and followed up her challenge with a Runner-Up Best of Breed. We are so proud of her. We will continue to show her as she thoroughly enjoys it. She really enjoyed the show the following night, she was full of beans and ready to go, and powered around the ring. She also thought it was a fantastic game to try and catch Tonka as we were running around for RUBOB which Tonka was awarded and who also handled himself well. Needless to say it was a good night which we and the dogs all enjoyed.
One of the biggest shows for WA is the Western Classic, which was held from 2-5 March this year. Utility group were Saturday & Sunday nights and the weather was lovely and cool, unlike the rain we experience at the previous show the week prior. We were so proud of our kids, who were very well behaved in & out of the ring and the training has certainly paid off. We were especially proud of Leah when she was awarded Best of Breed at the first show & then the Challenge followed by Runner-Up Best of Breed at the second, attaining 16 points over the weekend & now only needing another 6 points to be titled.
